Business With a Baby - Final Episode
Hello, Jasmine here from LVL Up Consulting with what will be my final business with a baby blog. So the reason I started this series was to share what it's like being a parent with a newborn who also has a small business, which is a little bit like having a newborn as well. And it's my last blog because baby Van is now six months old.
And we've been on this journey together, and from this month, he'll be starting his first couple of days at daycare. So our time together is starting to come to an end. And so I can be more focused, single focused I should say, on the business throughout 2023. But what has the journey been like?
It's been pretty awesome, to be honest. I'm very fortunate. Every parent knows that every baby is different, but baby Van has been super chill. Very good colleague to work with, he's been in the office with my team and I and the best part is that I've also been able to take him to client sites as well.
So if any of my wonderful clients and their teams are watching, I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to you for not only, you know, not blinking an eye of a baby in an office, but also embracing him and being absolutely okay with the working mother and with us as a team of two. So it has been really wonderful experience.
I'm gonna miss him. The team are gonna miss him. But stoked with what we've been able to achieve. So my goal for maternity leave, which ended up not quite being maternity leave, was to do a lot of that behind the scenes stuff on LVL Up. I was able to do that. I finished two qualifications in that time.
We also grew the business. Put on two new team members, took on new clients, and we are ready to sort of go hard, breaks off in 2023. So that was my experience of having a business and a baby. It can be done. If I can do it, anybody can do it. And here's to another awesome year and to this little dude growing and learning with his friends at daycare from this month.
