Purpose
LVL Up Consulting is committed to providing a safe and healthy environment for our employees, contractors, clients, and course participants. This policy outlines our approach to managing Work Health and Safety (WHS) risks associated with our project management training services.
Scope
This policy applies to:
All LVL Up Consulting employees and contractors.
Clients and course participants attending online or in-person training sessions.
All training locations, including LVL Up Consulting offices, client premises, and external venues within Australia.
Legislation
This policy is guided by:
Work Health and Safety Act 2011 (Cth).
Work Health and Safety Regulations 2011 (Cth).
Relevant state and territory WHS laws.
Responsibilities
Management: Ensure WHS policies and procedures are implemented, monitored, and reviewed.
Employees/Contractors: Comply with WHS policies, report hazards/incidents, and participate in WHS training.
Clients/Course Participants: Adhere to WHS guidelines provided during training sessions.
WHS Objectives
Identify and mitigate WHS risks associated with training delivery
Provide a safe and healthy learning environment
Ensure compliance with relevant WHS legislation and regulations
Foster a culture of WHS awareness and responsibility
WHS Procedures
Risk Management: Identify, assess, and control WHS risks through hazard reports and risk registers.
Incident Reporting: Document and investigate incidents, near misses, and hazards.
Training and Induction: Provide WHS training for employees/contractors and clients/course participants.
Emergency Procedures: Establish evacuation procedures, first aid, and emergency contact details.
Workplace Inspections: Regularly inspect training venues to ensure compliance.
Specific Considerations for Online and In-Person Training
Online Training:
Ensure digital platforms are secure and reliable.
Provide clear instructions on online participation.
In-Person Training:
Conduct venue risk assessments.
Ensure adequate ventilation, lighting, and ergonomics.
Reporting Incidents
In the event of an incident, report to:

Relevant state/territory WHS authority (e.g., SafeWork Australia, WorkSafe VIC)
Review and Revision:
This policy will be reviewed and revised annually, or as legislation/regulations change.
