Business with a Baby - 12th October

Hello, Jasmine here from LVL Up Consulting with this week's edition of Business with a Baby, where I share what it's like to run a small business when you have got a little baby at home that you are raising. So this is the little man. He's growing more and more each week. And we are really, really getting into the groove now of what is it like to be on, for me maternity leave.

And I get a lot of people ask. Jasmine, how are you still working and honestly, my, my answer to that is I am living my best life right now. First and foremost, I get to spend so much time watching little Van grow and watching his development leaps happen. But also when he is asleep, I get to do client work and grow my business.

And I can honestly say I have so much work life satisfaction right now. You could probably tell I'm, I'm beaming. On a, on the work side, so I'm doing a lot of work now on the client sort of project advisory side of LVL Up, which I find so fulfilling. It means I get to guide not only my team, so my project managers and our coordinators, but I also get to give really strategic, tactical advice to clients about how they can deliver project work efficiently.

And I find that incredibly rewarding. I've also been doing a lot of that behind the scenes business development work for the company. So we are just about to launch our new website, watch this space. I've been doing my training, so I did get my first qualification. I'm gonna sit my next exam for that next week.

We, I've developed a redone, our culture document, employee handbook, all new branded templates for the company. So we are gonna absolutely be running at speed in 2023. So that's also been really fun to have the time to do that. But the biggest update since my last video is that sitting, sitting at home and having lots of time to reflect, I've realized that I really am motivated to grow this company. And as almost immediately as I made that decision new work came our way and also some brand new employees. So I'm very excited to share that. We are gonna be putting on a brand new project manager this month and a brand new project coordinator. And I'm already talking to two other project managers who are keen to start later this year and into January as well.

So the team is going to be almost doubling by the time 2023 starts, which is incredibly exciting. So we are growing in every direction.
