Business with a Baby - 20th September

Hello, Jasmine here from LVL Up Consulting, sharing my experiences of what it's like to run a small business with a now not so small little baby. So little Van is now 11 weeks old this week, which means I've been officially, you know, out of the business, off the tools for over three months now. And I can finally say I'm getting into a really good groove of what balancing work, having a little baby at home has been like. What have we been doing? So since the last video, I think I mentioned that things were quite busy I had onboarded a new client and was doing some, some advisory work with one of my old clients. And that work is still going. But we are now as I say, in a rhythm.

So I know exactly the times of the day that I, I am working. Exactly the times of day that I'm, I'm interacting with the little guy. And also times of the day where I am doing other things like exercising, which I think is really important. And doing some business development work as well, which is something I really wanted to do on maternity leave. So some of that business development work I've been doing includes building a brand new LVL Up website, which I'm very excited to launch in the next few weeks, building what I call the LVL Up look book which anyone who knows fashion is where you showcase all, all of your new styles and you know what you're doing for this season. So we're not in fashion, but it is a book about all things LVL Up, what we do our approach.

Very vocal now. And then also doing some, you know, work, looking to grow my team. So I started that process looking at exploring some new some new clients and some new project work next year. So having the space in my calendar and in my diary has been amazing. So we're in the groove.

For those wondering baby sleep, is not in the groove yet, so we are still taking each day by ear. Yeah, it's really fun watching the business grow from behind the scenes and still supporting my team who are doing fantastic project work. So business with the baby has been fun. I'm I'm sure it's all gonna change again.

Once he gets a little bigger but for now we're sticking to our schedule and ticking off things on that to do list. Thanks for tuning in I'll, I'll let you know how I'm going in a few weeks time.
