LVLing Up at LVL Up - 28th July

Hi, everyone. Kara here from LVL Up Consulting with this week's LVLing Up at LVL Up.  I've learnt three things, things that I've had to overcome this week while my director, mentor, best friend has gone on maternity leave.

So what I had to learn in the last week was your lack of control over certain situations is something that you need to adapt to, not crumble. It's all about how you handle the situation and how you overcome the situation that you don't have control over.

Number two, I've learnt to clearly define goals for yourself and the team. This gives everybody a great direction on what's expected during the week, and everyone, a bit of clarity on what we want to achieve. So that's what I found this week worked really well for us. And we've also been checking in on each other every day. How are you feeling today? How are you - 1 out of 10, how are you feeling? So we can both carry each other as well, if someone's not feeling overly great.

The third thing that I've learned this week is to take a break. I found myself working ridiculous hours. I was so excited. I was absolutely loving what I'm doing. I wanted everything to be perfect. And Jasmine came in, gave me a little bit of an intervention and said, take a step back. And I found that it's really worked. So I took a step back this weekend. Didn't work and I've come in super fresh and feeling great.

So that's the three things that I learnt in the last week. Hope you all had a really good week and feel free to leave a comment.

Bye guys,

Kara
